Product

Sorghum is an ancient supergrain that pops just like popcorn, except it’s tinier, tastier, and better for you than popcorn. It’s also got a softer hull so it’s sensitive gum safe (and toddler friendly as well). It’s also EXTREMELY eco-friendly – it’s a carbon neutral grain, is completely drought resistant, and only requires rain water!

All of our ingredients are non-gmo and organic or transitional organic when possible. In order to get non-gmo project verification on dairy ingredients, the farms need to keep daily records of what the cows are being fed and submit it to the verification board. This is a pretty big undertaking and the organic farms producing the organic milk for our parmesan and white cheddar cheeses don’t have the capacity to do this. However, NONE of the cow’s feed is GMO and all of the dairy products are certified organic, which is actually even stricter in some senses than non-gmo.

All of our ingredients are from farms in the USA and our products and packaging are proudly made in the USA as well.

All of our ingredients are organic whenever possible. We found the tastiest sorghum and it happens to be at a TRANSITIONAL organic farm, which means they’re in the process of getting their organic certification, but it takes 3 years. Right now NONE of the sorghum crops have ever been sprayed with pesticides and they should be certified organic within 2 years so stick around!!

ALLERGY

As a corn allergy mom, I feel you DEEPLY. I personally sourced all the ingredients and interrogated our suppliers like a detective to make sure that all ingredients were corn allergen free. For example, the alcohol in our vanilla is from surgarcane, the dairy is all organic with no natural flavors or fortifications, and all salt is non-iodized.

At the moment, there are no food manufacturing facilities in America that are completely free of corn derivatives. Our goal is to grow big enough to be the first! But until then, we do a full allergen swab of ALL machines before making any of our products on them.

However, I know full well that corn allergies are tricky. If you have a corn allergy and think you’ve had a reaction to our products, please email us immediately at allergy@cobfoods.com and we will get to the bottom of things

Shipping & Returns

While we don’t ship individual bags, we do offer a snack pack sampler, which has 1 bag of each of the 4 flavors to give you a tiny taste of each of our insanely delicious flavors before you place a bigger order.
Our minimum order is $75 for free shipping.

We ship products out every day Monday-Friday from 9-5 PM and try to ship either same or next day. If you realize you used an incorrect address, please email us immediately so we can attempt to change it. If you’d like to cancel your order, please do so within 2 hours of placing it by emailing support@cobfoods.com.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns since we’re a perishable food product. However, if you have any issues whatsoever with your order, we will always work to make it right! Just shoot us a note at support@cobfoods.com
